' Your MAGhull'
community magazine
Welcome to this edition of Your MAGhull,
where we are shining a spotlight on the young
people of our town and the opportunities
available to them.
We are delighted to see the Maghull Youth
Council firmly established and already playing
an active role in shaping decisions about
youth provision in our community. Their
enthusiasm, ideas and commitment are
helping to ensure that young voices are heard
and valued. I would like to extend my sincere
thanks to our school leaders for their
incredible support, as well as to the parents
and, of course, the young people themselves,
whose involvement has made this initiative
such a success.
One of the key priorities identified by the Youth
Council is the need for a dedicated Youth
Centre. We have listened carefully and have
already begun exploring the possibilities of
making this ambition a reality.
In this edition, we also celebrate some of the
fantastic organisations already providing
opportunities for young people, including our
local Air Cadets and other youth-focused
groups. It is inspiring to see the outstanding
work being carried out across our community
and the positive impact it has on the lives of
young people.
As a Town Council, we are committed to
building on these strong foundations.
Through The Maghull Plan, we are working to
create even more opportunities for our young
people to learn, develop and thrive, helping to
shape a brighter future for our town.
