Youth Council
The newly established Maghull Youth Council empowers
local teenagers to shape their community. Working
alongside Maghull Town Council, it provides a vital platform
for young people to voice concerns and organize engaging
events. By focusing on recreation, opportunities, and overall
wellbeing, this dynamic initiative ensures the younger
generation has a direct say in local decision-making and
community development.

“I chose to stand for Leader of
Maghull Town Youth Council because
I believe young people should have a
real say in the decisions that affect
them in their communities. Too often,
young people's views are overlooked,
and I want to help make sure their
voices are heard. Through my
involvement with the Liverpool City
Region Youth Combined Authority, I
have seen the difference that
meaningful youth representation can
make. As Leader, I hope to create
more opportunities for young people
in Maghull to share their ideas and
feel engaged in their community.”
