As we approach the end of another year, I
want to extend my warmest Christmas
wishes to all the residents of our wonderful
town. It is an honour to serve as your
Mayor, and I have been continually inspired
by the spirit of kindness and resilience that

Mrs Lynne Fairclough of Maghull was
awarded the British Empire Medal
(BEM) in the 2025, King's New Year
Honours for almost 40 years' work
Mr Terence Crolley of Maghull has
been involved with the Whitechapel
Centre for the homeless, for over 40
years. Mr Crolley, now 90 years young,
is the charity's Honorary President,
Ambassador, and a proud recipient of
the 'Member of the Order of the British
Empire' (MBE), which he received from
the King in June 2025.
