Welcome to the Winter 2025 edition of
the Maghull Town Council Magazine!
It was a real pleasure to celebrate the
Civic Awards this week with all the
wonderful nominees and winners. The
dedication, kindness, and hard work
shown by members of our community
truly make Maghull a special place; we
are very fortunate indeed.
Our Cosy Club has returned for the
season and, as always, has been very
well attended. It’s heart-warming to see
so many residents coming together to
share warmth, friendship, and support.
In recent meetings, we’ve also
discussed the fantastic work being
done at the Maghull Advice Centre.
When I first took office, the building
offered only a limited service. Thanks to
the dedication of this council, our
officers, incredible volunteers, and the
support of local businesses and
organisations, the centre has grown
into a thriving community hub. Our
partnership with Citizens Advice has
been instrumental in ensuring
residents can access expert help when
they need it most.
Finally, I hope you’ll join us for our
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony;
rest assured, this council has not
cancelled Christmas!
