The Community Services team
continues to work to support local
organisations and deliver services
for residents. We are working
alongside councillors and local
organisations to investigate
options for youth activities
including a youth club, a range of
diversionary activities and
developing a youth council.
In the coming months we will be
hosting our very successful Cosy
Club warm space which has
relocated to Maghull Parish Hall
and runs on a Monday afternoon
from 12 pm until 2pm and provides
hot food and entertainment for
elderly and vulnerable residents.
MTC will also be delivering its
annual Christmas hampers to
residents who need support
during the holiday period, working
with local organisations such as
the foodbank, health centres and
Sefton CVS. If you know of anyone
who would benefit from a hamper
and would welcome a friendly
face in the run up to Christmas
please let us know.
