MAGHULL TOWN HALL
UPDATE
At approximately 12 noon on
Saturday 1st February 2025 a
fire started in the roof void
above the Venue in the Town
Hall. At the time, the building
was empty. The Leisure Centre
evacuated their building, and
no one was hurt during that
process.
The fire brigade attended
the site, with 10 appliances
and proceeded to put the
fire out. They were on site for
7 hours and two escalators
were used in order to put the
fire out. The building has
suffered from considerable
water and fire damage but
very little from smoke
damage. The building is
currently unusable.

As the Town Hall is not able to
be used. The Venue Function
Suite swiftly has now
successfully relocated to St
Georges, Station Road, Maghull
L31 3DF. They are now taking
bookings for events and
function hire on 0151 375 8348.
